Chapter 2 is proud to support Widows’ Rights International this International Widows Day.
Widows’ Rights International (WRI) would like to invite you to their International Widows Day event on 22 June 2024 at the historic Athenaeum in Liverpool. WRI are a Human Rights organisation promoting the welfare of widows. They have a presence at the UN and the Human Rights Council in Geneva and also work with UK Parliamentarians to promote Widowhood.
There are 3 amazing speakers on the day, a silver service lunch, and a chance to network:
- Zarin Hainsworth OBE: Widows Rights International
- Colette Scarborough-Jelfs: Widowed and Young
- Daphne Franks: Predatory Marriages
The ticket price is £35 on Eventbrite, but WRI have offered Chapter 2 members tickets at £32.50 if booked directly: admin@widowsrights.net
